Bridges between different professional traditions – The museum will convey the connection between technology, medicine and culture over time, in addition to providing insight into the basic principles of modern technological processes and products that surround us today. Our science center illustrates the basic principles of physical laws through the provision of playful learning via interactive installations. The museum's biggest challenge is to be a bridge-builder between fragmented expert knowledge on the one hand and the public in a broad sense on the other.
20,700 square meters – The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology has previously had exhibition spaces in the Viking Ship Museum on Bygdøy, and in Fyrstikkalléen on Etterstad.
