Privacy statement for The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology
We process all personal data about you in line with our privacy statements.
Personal data that is stored
We store the following information about customers in the online shop: Name, address, e-mail and bank/card information are used to make purchases and to provide information about products, exhibitions and activities at the museum.
We store address lists with the following information about other stakeholders: Name, address, e-mail, telephone number to communicate with our stakeholders, as well as to provide information about, and to invite to, the museum's exhibitions and activities.

Purpose of personal data
We process the information in order to fulfill our obligations towards our stakeholders.
Disclosure of information to third parties
We will not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose personal data to others, unless we are legally obliged to do so. Such legal obligation includes, among other things, the disclosure of personal data to public agencies such as NAV, the Police etc.
Rights of the data subject
We process your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act and applicable regulations. Please note that you can request access to and transfer of your own personal information, as well as request correction or deletion of information. Complaints can be made to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority about processing in breach of the rules.
Information security
We secure your personal information by both physical and virtual access and access control, as well as by encrypting sensitive parts of the information provided.
