The purpose of the association of friends is to contribute to the development of The Norwegian Museum Of Science And Technology , and to be a forum for enthusiasts,

companies and organizations with an interest in the museum's work and technical and medical history.

Personal membership NOK 450,-

THIS YEAR'S EVENT IS OVER - SUNDAY 17 NOVEMBER was the penultimate.

FAMILY DAY AT THE NORWEGIAN MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY  

 

 In addition to the "usual" attractions, the program includes the following:

 THE CARAVELLEN AND HALVORSEN'S WORKSHOP ARE OPEN FOR VISITORS

 The Model&Dampforeningen provides various models for exhibition and the Ekeberg Railway runs inside the mezzanine

 Hortenbanen and Industrimodellen are staffed and running - again and again. . .

 Norsk Radio Relæ Liga has a stand, where young and old get the opportunity to test themselves on electronic challenges

 TEKNA and NITO have stands and various activities in the vestibule

 And will you take the challenge in Little Klaus? Reopened attraction that has been renovated and set up by the Association of Friends.

The Norwegian Museum Of Science And Technology won Oslo's best experience for children!

The Norwegian Museum Of Science And Technology won the award for Oslo's best experience for children.

Much thanks to the 100 try-it-yourself installations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Aftenposten was behind this award. The other nominees were Deichman Bjørvika, Oslo Klatresenter, Deichman Biblo Tøyen and Natural History Museum.

Open on Thursdays: 9-21, and on the last Thursday of the month it continues with a special tour at 19:30 First time 27.1.22, And for those of you who haven't paid the membership fee yet - it's not too late yet!

 

Why be a member of Venneforeningen?

With a membership card from the Friends' Association, you get free entry to the museum all year.

 

A family membership applies to 2 adults and 4 children and is already earned on the second visit.

 

50% of the membership fee

you pay to Venneforeningen

goes directly back to the museum.

90% of the company membership fee is set aside

to project funds for museum projects.

 

Members of the Venneforeningen are invited to lectures/serials every month, to family Sundays in spring and autumn and to a boat trip on the fjord with DS Børøysund in June.
