Our meeting rooms and event venues are located right in the middle of the museum's exhibitions – surrounded by historic aircraft, cars, trams and scientific instruments. We cater for everything from formal conferences and meetings to relaxed evening parties and events, and tailor each arrangement to the needs of your organisation. Free parking is available for all guests. --- ## Venues – Overview ### The Aviation Hall [https://www.tekniskmuseum.no/en/lokaler](https://www.tekniskmuseum.no/en/lokaler) **Size:** 300 m² | **Floor:** 3 (exhibition area) The museum's largest and most iconic event venue, with historic aircraft, helicopters, trains and Oslo's first tram as a backdrop. Capacity: up to 450 standing guests. Well suited for conference dinners, corporate parties, concerts, summer parties and Christmas events. Available for hire from 5 pm (Mondays can also be hired during the day). PA system included. ### The Mezzanine **Size:** 220 m² | **Floor:** 3 A bright, open event venue with views over the Akerselva River. Capacity: up to 200 guests. Well suited for product launches, lunches, private parties, corporate events and summer parties. A popular choice for day conferences and smaller events. Full-day and half-day packages available. ### The Auditorium **Size:** 250 m² | **Floor:** 1 (conference wing) A professional conference venue and auditorium with a large stage, projector, lapel microphones and natural daylight. Capacity: 200 seated guests. Access to two adjacent meeting rooms and a 232 m² networking area. The ideal conference venue for meetings, seminars, conferences and professional events in Oslo. Car lift with direct stage access (max. 2 tonnes). ### Music Machines **Size:** 240 m² | **Floor:** 2 A distinctive event venue surrounded by historic jukeboxes, a self-playing piano and iconic music machines. Capacity: up to 180 standing guests. Well suited for after-work events, quiz nights, intimate concerts, corporate parties and Christmas events. Available for hire from 5 pm. ### The Universe Room **Size:** 96 m² | **Floor:** 3 A glass-walled meeting room surrounded by the museum's collection of motorcycles, cars and aircraft. Capacity: up to 50 seated guests. An inspiring meeting room for meetings, seminars, conferences, presentations and webinars. ### The Reactor **Size:** 80 m² | **Floor:** 4 Located within the I/O ICT exhibition, designed by Snøhetta. Capacity: 60–100 guests. A memorable and distinctive event venue for talks, smaller events, karaoke and corporate gatherings. ### The Amphitheatre **Size:** 80 m² | **Floor:** 3 A conference amphitheatre in the heart of the transport exhibition, surrounded by aircraft, trains, trams and buses. Capacity: 90 seated guests. Well suited for debates, talks, conferences and workshops. PA system, projector and stage included. ### The Rest Room **Size:** 100 m² | **Floor:** 2 A meeting and event venue in the National Medical Museum. Capacity: 28–52 guests. Well suited for meetings, seminars, workshops and smaller gatherings. ### The Action Room **Size:** 30 m² | **Floor:** 1 (conference wing) A compact meeting room with video conferencing equipment. Capacity: 16–18 people. Well suited for smaller meetings, board meetings and webinars. ### The Control Room **Size:** 30 m² | **Floor:** 1 (conference wing) A compact meeting room with a TV screen and video conferencing equipment. Capacity: 14 people.
