Run in a load of lego blocks or play classic analogue table games with family, friends and neighbors. We have, among other things, Stiga ice hockey games, Kurong, Shuffle Puck, Shoelbak and Crocinole. Suitable for everyone. Drop-in.
16.30–18.30 Open Teknolab

Come and test out a radio-controlled car, generate your own AI images or how about coding a drawing with a sand printer? Suitable for everyone. Read more about the creation workshops at The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology here.
17.00-17.30 YouTube - Factory Factory?

Put on VR glasses and experience the websites Wikipedia and YouTube as 3D landscapes. Why do artists Amelie and Boris show us the websites this way? Age limit 11 years. Drop-in. Read more about Site Visits here.

Life and death – man in change

Join us and explore basic questions in the exhibition: What is health? What is disease? What is good treatment?

The goal is dialogue and new knowledge about medical history and the present - and being human.

This major initiative is based on the museum's collections. The design revolves around one specific and special body – the mummy "Maren".

Get to know telecommunications and data history in an innovative and unique way! Bring an identifier pin, which you will find at the entrance, and log in to the exhibition. Artificial intelligence (AI) helps you to have a museum experience in spectacular surroundings, where the past meets the present - with engaging pointers towards the future. The whole family can "nostalgia travel" in time and share experiences related to more than 250 objects that represent older and newer technology, each with its own fabulous history.

Site Visits

The I/O exhibition also features art installations. In this series of digital art,sites are transformed into 3D landscapes, where visitors can explore the cultural aspects of each site.
