Everyday Life in
Digitized Worlds
"Everyday Life in Digitalized Worlds" is a conference that explores the dynamics between people and the digital world.
In an age where digital devices are indispensable, they affect our daily lives in ways we may not fully understand. From social media apps to advanced remote sensing, from political mobilization to artificial general intelligence, we are facing changes that challenge our perception of truth and falsehood, privacy and publicness. This has great significance for our democracy, our own identity and where we feel we belong.
Denne konferansen avslutter forskningsprosjektet Private Lives ved Universitetet i Oslo. Prosjektet utforsker hverdagslivet i den digitale tidsalderen og vil diskutere digitale utfordringer i Norden og øvrig.
The conference includes keynotes from Professor Hannah Knox, University College London, Dr. Anna-Maria Walter, University of Oulu, and Associate Professor Cathrine Thorleifsson, University of Oslo.
Konferansen er åpen for alle uten deltakeravgift. Lunsj og kaffe/te er tilgjengelig for påmeldte deltakere, og påmeldte deltakere får også gratis adgang til IKT-utstillingen I/O og Privatlivets grenser-utstillingen på The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology.
