Family Sunday
with the Association of Friends
Join the Friends Association for a fun and educational day at the museum! Explore over 25 exhibitions and more than 100 interactive installations that are sure to engage young and old alike.
Climb aboard the Caravelle, the museum's largest object. For those interested in crafts, Halvorsen's workshop is open - an eldorado for anyone who is fascinated by tinkering and the smell of wood, oil and iron. Train enthusiasts can take a seat on the Ekebergbanen.
The highlight will be the unveiling of our newly restored police motorcycle, which will now have a permanent place in the exhibition on transport at the museum.
There will also be stands from the Norwegian Radio Relay League, the Norwegian Model and Steam Association, NITO and Tekna, all of whom contribute to a rich and exciting day.
