New technology in quantum computing is on the horizon. Many have realized that this can change the world, but far fewer know how. At OsloMet, they have acquired the two quantum computers Hugin and Munin so that both researchers and students can become familiar with and explore the computers of the future.

2025 er erklært for FNs internasjonale kvanteår. Det skal setjast ekstra fokus på forsking og formidling av kvantefysikkens mange sider, inkludert mogelegheitene som ligg i informasjonsteknologi. Les meir om FNs kvanteår her.
