Meet the robot TIAGo

On Monday 30 September you can meet the humanoid robot TIAGo. He is trained to do many strange things. Can you beat the robot in 4 in a row?

The robot TIAGo has one arm, two fingers, weighs 72 kg and measures 110-145 cm on the plinth. He is normally based at the Research Group ROBIN - Robotics and Intelligent Systems at the University of Oslo. Here, students and researchers examine the robot's sensors, software and movement possibilities and test it in practice.

Robots have already moved from industry into our homes as simple vacuum cleaners and lawnmowers. Will they soon play a bigger role in our everyday lives? Can robots help us with homework, make pancakes or support us as we grow old? What can a robot be trained to do?

TIAGo er bare en av mange roboter i høstferieprogram mandag 30. september med Åpen Robotlab, omvisningen Robotene kommer, Modelljernbanen, Vitenshow, Lego Spike og Lego-oppdraget; Høstferie med roboter - The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology
