Communication and interactivity
The project involves a total renovation of the entire top floor of the museum – today's telecommunications and computer exhibition. The area and adjacent areas, as well as other places in the museum, may also be included.
In the exhibition, one can encounter and explore beautiful objects, but also experience a number of other elements, interactive installations, a large arena for debate and events, art and structural elements that can interact with visitors.
We collaborate with world-class designers to create a unique and innovative exhibition that creates a reaction in the audience and responds to the audience.
The communication in the exhibition should create reactions, arouse curiosity and invite participation in ways that provide understanding and reflection among a broad target group. The exhibition should be dynamic and changeable over time, and possible to experience in different ways each time. Images, film and sound will help to bring the exhibition to life, while interactivity will give visitors the opportunity to explore for themselves.
To begin developing ideas and techniques for such a programmable exhibition, we will establish a small experimental zone in the museum's LAB in spring 2020. It will be possible for museum visitors to see inside, and to come in and participate when we open the doors. Here we will place a small selection of historical artifacts, and begin the process of developing a computer system that will control the upcoming exhibition.
