Short Stories

19–22. February

How can The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology be understood through art and our senses? This is what students from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and the Norwegian Academy of Music will investigate and show during the period 30 January–22 February. Through body and movement, clothing and design, composition and sound, they will engage in dialogue with the museum's exhibitions and visitors. You are invited to watch, both during the development work and the final screenings.

SHORT STORIES consists of a series of five shorter performative events that will activate different parts of the museum's exhibitions. Five composite teams of art students from the fields of choreography, design (clothing and costume), contemporary dance, and music/composition are behind the experiment.

SHORT STORIES is open to museum visitors of all ages. Open tests will take place on weekdays at 13.00-16.00 in the period 30 January to 16 February. The screenings will be 19 to 22 February at 12.00, 14.00 and 15.00. Don't miss this unique opportunity to expand your experiences with historical objects through the senses! Welcome!
