What is steam?
Try this experiment and find out what steam is.
Curriculum objectives: History vg3 – Study preparation:
- give an account of the main features of the industrial revolution and examine what significance it had for business development and social conditions in Norwegian society
You need:
- An empty and clean soda can. Preferably 500ml.
- A small gas burner/Primus (and a lighter or matches to light the gas)
- A sausage clip or other suitable tongs to hold the soda can
- A bowl of cold water. The colder the better!
Note:

Only use the gas burner in a suitable location.

Make sure the soda can gets really hot.

Remember safety glasses!
