Privacy related to the talent centre in science

We store the following personal information about our students and their guardians:
Name, telephone number, email address, gender, home school, municipality of residence and necessary medical information.

Sensitive personal data such as medical information is collected and stored so that we can best protect the student's health and safety when they participate in sessions at the talent centre .

Purpose of the processing

We process the information in order to fulfill our obligations to students, parents and the students' home schools. Registration of the above data is necessary to be able to follow up on students who participate in the talent centre , meet their needs and communicate with the students' schools, parents and teachers.

The basis for the treatment

Information about name, address, telephone number, email address is used to fulfill our responsibilities and obligations as an extension of the student's school and ordinary school life. The information is stored for up to three years.

Where you have consented, the information is also used to provide you with information about activities at the talent centre , gatherings, reports to home schools and teachers and the education department in your municipality.

[If applicable] Where you have consented, purchase history and behavioral patterns are used to provide recommendations and advertising specifically tailored to you as a user. The basis for this processing is the GDPR Art 6 (a). You can withdraw your consent to such use at any time.

Collection of personal data

We store the personal information you have provided in the application forms in connection with your application(s) to the talent centre .

Disclosure of information to third parties

We will not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose personal information to others unless we are legally obligated to do so.

Deletion of personal data

Information we have received in connection with your application(s) and your participation at the talent centre will be stored in our active participant register for up to 3 years.

Rights of the data subject

We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act and applicable regulations. Please note that you can request access to and transfer of your personal data, as well as request correction or deletion of information.

Complaints can be made to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority about processing in violation of the rules.
