Oslo Street Art is behind the exhibition "The Spray Can 100 Years - From Utility to Art". Here, the public will encounter historical objects, archival documentation and curated artworks that tell the story of how this Norwegian invention became a global success and catalyst for the international graffiti and street art movement.
As a symbol of freedom of expression and democratic forms of creativity, the origin story of the spray can has yet to be fully told or celebrated. The changing exhibition “The Spray Can 100 Years – From Utility to Art” (10.9.–15.11.) will highlight the legacy of Erik Rotheim.
Oslo Street Art is looking forward to welcoming the public to its exhibition and outreach program for children and young people at The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology this fall.
