What do you do at the youth club?
We use the museum's and science center's equipment to test and experiment with science in focus. Meet in the entrance hall at The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology at 4 p.m. We will then go together to one of our creative workshops. The youth club is open between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
There will be different programs every Thursday, and the necessary training will be provided during the meeting. It will also be possible to work on your own long-term projects and not follow the plan that has been planned. O bs: This will require you to be more or less independent in your project.
Enrollment and deregistration
There are 20 places at SkaperLab, and you must therefore register in advance. Registration will open two weeks before the due SkaperLab takes place, and closes the day before.
If the places are filled, there will be a waiting list. Therefore, it is important that you let us know at the latest the day before if you still cannot participate, so that the place can go to someone on the waiting list.
If you fail to attend twice within two months, you will not be able to participate in SkaperLab for the next two months.
Calendar
If you have been granted a place, you will receive a confirmation email from Monday of the relevant week.
Emails will also be sent out continuously if you register after Monday and there is still space .

We're going to experiment with the wave tank on the house! This time we're going to build windmills that will be on the water and withstand waves. Can you create the best design? |

| The Moon | February 5th |
On this date, NASA will send a rocket with four people to the moon for the first time since 1972, so this evening's SkaperLab theme is the moon and space travel. There will be various activities within the theme. |

| Eggdrop challenge | February 26 |
Can your egg survive a fall from a height? You will build a structure that will allow your egg to withstand a drop. We will also include an accelerometer that measures acceleration. |

Test your carpentry skills at SkaperLab and create art with your own hands! Using manual tools and traditional techniques, you will create your own self-portrait in wood. |

On this day you will get an introduction to 3D printing. You will work on creating your own product that you will take home with you at the end of the youth club. |

On this day you will get to test two different art techniques. Whether it is drawing with a programmable car or making prints with lino, you will be able to take home artwork at the end of the evening. |

Are you interested in science?
The Talent Centre in Science is a tailored educational offer for students with high learning potential. All students who are entitled to education under the public school system, who are in the 5th grade to the 2nd year of upper secondary education in the participating year, have the opportunity to apply for participation.
