Do you think coding is fun? The super:bit competition 2024 is now open! Would you and some friends from school or your coding club like to participate?

Super:bit-kampen er en kodekonkurranse for skoler og kodeklubber fra hele Norge der man programmerer med micro:bit. I 2023 deltok det over 200 lag fra kodeklubber eller skoler fra hele Norge. Et lag kan bestå av to eller tre barn i alderen 1013 år (5.–7. trinn).

Regional semi-final

When a team signs up, they will conduct a semi-final at one of the regional science centers in Norway. The semi-finals will be held during April, and you choose which science center you participate at.

Delfinalen på Oslo Science Centre arrangeres den 27. april fra kl. 10 til 16.

NB: Each science center has a limited number of places, so it is important to be there early after registration has opened.

Educational offers

super:bit 2.0 is an educational offer where pupils in the 6th grade get an introduction to block-based programming in MakeCode for micro:bit. The students program a micro:bit and control a robot car to solve various challenges.

Super:bit is pleased to offer teacher courses in programming. Super:bit is a collaboration between NRK, the Norwegian Science Centres and Lær Kidsa Koding. The teacher courses and student teaching are funded by the Norwegian Directorate of Education through the technological school backpack.
