Teaching and teacher courses

Super: bit

In 2024 and 2025 The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology will offer free teacher training courses in programming at schools. We also have two teaching opportunities for students in grades 5 to 7.

Super:bit 2.0 is a continuation of the popular educational offer "Super:Bit 1.0" where pupils in 5th-7th class gets an introduction to block-based programming in MakeCode for micro:bit. The students program a micro:bit and control a robot car to solve various challenges.

After completing the "Super:bit 1.0" course, each school received an equipment package so that programming with micro:bit and all the possibilities this provides can be carried out at all schools in Oslo and Nittedal. We use the equipment that the schools have been allocated, and teaching resources from the websites of super:bit .
