Privacy related to the talent centre in science
We store the following personal data about our students and their guardians:
Name, telephone number, e-mail address, gender, home school, municipality of residence and necessary medical information.
Sensitive personal data such as medical information is collected and stored so that we can ensure the student's health and safety in the best possible way when they attend meetings at the talent centre .
Purpose of the processing
We process the information in order to fulfill our obligations towards students, parents and the students' home school. Registration of the above-mentioned data is necessary in order to be able to follow up students who participate in the talent centre , attend to their needs and communicate with the students' schools, parents and teachers.
The basis of the treatment
Information about name, address, telephone, e-mail address is used to fulfill our responsibilities and obligations as an extension of the student's school and ordinary school life. The information is stored for up to three years.
Where you have consented to this, the information is also used to provide you with information about activities at the talent centre , gatherings, reports to home schools and teachers and the education agency in your municipality.
[If relevant] Where you have consented to it, purchase history and behavior patterns are used to provide recommendations and advertising specially adapted to you as a user. The basis for this processing is the Personal Protection Regulation Art 6 (a). You can withdraw your consent to such use at any time.
Collection of personal data
We store the personal data you have submitted in the application forms in connection with your application(s) to the talent centre .
Disclosure of information to third parties
We will not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose personal data to others, unless we are legally obliged to do so.
Deletion of personal data
Information we have received in connection with your application(s) and your participation at the talent centre will be stored in our active participant register for up to 3 years.
Rights of the data subject
We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act and applicable regulations. Please note that you can request access to and transfer of your own personal information, as well as request correction or deletion of information.
Complaints can be made to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority about processing in breach of the rules.
