Privacy related to school bookings
Personal data that is stored
We only store the name and e-mail of the person who books an offer with us.
Purpose of the processing
We process the information in order to be able to carry out our obligations in accordance with the agreement with the school/kindergarten. Registration of e-mail is necessary so that the person who books can receive an answer to the request, as well as so that we can subsequently notify the teacher of any important changes.
Our online booking system complies with the EU's new privacy directive.
Teacher fills in name and e-mail and receives an auto-generated e-mail that responds to the request.
The booking system also means that the teacher receives an automatic reminder three days before the visit, as well as a request for evaluation immediately after the visit has been completed.
The basis of the treatment
Information about name and e-mail address is used to fulfill the purchase agreement. The basis for this processing is the personal data protection regulation, Legal obligation, Art 6 (c)
Names and e-mails of teachers are stored for three years. E-mail lists can be used for newsletters that are sent out a maximum of five times per year. The basis for this processing is the Personal Protection Regulation Art 6 (a). You can withdraw your consent to such use at any time.
In the newsletters, teachers can easily press "Subscribe" or "Unsubscribe"
Collection of personal data
We store the personal data you have provided on our website in connection with your order.
Disclosure of information to third parties
We will not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose personal data to others, unless we are legally obliged to do so. In any newsletter, other recipients will never be visible to the recipient of the newsletter.
Deletion of personal data
Information we have received in connection with your purchase is stored in our active customer register for 3 years. After 3 years, all personal data is deleted.
Rights of the data subject
We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act and applicable regulations. Please note that you can request access to and transfer of your own personal information, as well as request correction or deletion of information.
Complaints can be made to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority about processing in breach of the rules.
Information security
We secure the personal data by both physical and virtual access and access control. Only a small number of the museum's employees have administrator rights to manage the museum's booking system.
