On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Erik Rotheim's first patent application for the spray can, Street Art Oslo invites you to the anniversary conference "Spray cans 100 years - from utility to art".
The conference will explore the history, development and significance of the spray can – from a Norwegian invention to a global industry and catalyst for the international graffiti and street art movement. Through lectures and discussions, we will bring together Norwegian and international guests to explore the past, present and future of the spray can.
