CARRYING POWER

Seminar

CARRYING POWER

Paul A. Rostad

On November 12–13, there will be a new sustainability seminar that brings together mediators and other interested parties from both science centers and museums throughout Norway.

The theme this year is engagement through action and collaboration. How can we create engagement through action and collaboration – between different communication arenas, with and in local communities, and in collaboration with educational institutions, associations and organizations?

The seminar will be "lunch to lunch" and will take place at The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology on the first day and at the Natural History Museum on the second day. There will be keynote lectures, workshops and joint dialogue, but we have also set aside some time for sessions where colleagues from museums and science centers can share their experiences. Participation costs NOK 800 for both days, and NOK 400 for students.
