The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology p
Collections
The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology manages large collections related to industry, technology, natural sciences and medicine. The collections are the core of the museum. It is through the collections that the museum conducts research and communicates.
Today we have an estimated 91,000 objects, 2.65 million photographs, 140,000 books and periodicals and 1,270 shelf meters of private archives. Much of this material is searchable through the Digital Museum , the library base Oria and the Archive Portal .
The collections online
An increasingly large part of the museum's collections is digitized and available online. At the Digital Museum you can explore both objects, photographs and stories.
