The Climate Blog

This blog is a project of the exhibition Klima2+.

Fridays for the Future

The name of this blog, Fridays for the Future, is taken from a demo poster and from a strong commitment to the climate on Earth. It also fits well, because the writers Marianna and Tonje work every Friday at The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology , with the theme of climate change.

Big thanks to the person who made the poster, participated in the school strike for climate in March 2019 and afterwards donated it to the Nobel Peace Center!

The poster was included in the peace center's fine exhibition Klimalab from April 5 to November 21 of the same year. When the exhibition was taken down, The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology was allowed to take over this and many other posters with slogans for the climate. The slogan Fridays for future is based on Greta Thunberg's school strike on Fridays. She has inspired children and young people all over the world to demand action to stop climate change.
